Safely exhibiting collections materials depends on how exhibits are designed and how materials are protected during display. This lecture will explain how four Harvard conservation staff members create exhibit layouts and fabricate cradles for books, mats and frames for graphic works on paper, and supports for three-dimensional objects. There will be time allowed for audience members to share their own experiences and techniques.
