Cyclododecane

Kelli Piotrowski, the Weissman Preservation Center’s Kress Conservation Fellow, will discuss the research she conducted on cyclododecane at Queen’s University. Her study examined how the rate of sublimation is affected by several delivery methods and paper characteristics such as fiber type, sizing, and surface finish. The study also quantified the amount of residues remaining in the papers after visual examination suggested complete sublimation had already occurred.
