Helen H. Glaser Senior Paper Conservator position is open!

Applications are now being accepted for the Helen H. Glaser Senior Paper Conservator at the Weissman Preservation Center. The Helen H. Glaser Senior Paper Conservator manages the daily operations of an active paper conservation program and works closely with other Preservation Services managers and staff to address the preservation needs of the Harvard Library community. In addition to overseeing high-production paper conservation workflows for digitization, exhibitions, patron use, and collections maintenance, the Senior Paper Conservator participates in consultations and other educational and programmatic activities in accord with Harvard Library's mission. The position requires the ability to train, guide, and mentor conservators, technicians, and interns, and demonstrated excellence in performing a broad range of advanced to complex conservation treatments aligned with the American Institute for Conservation's Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice.
