The International Association of Book and Paper Conservators (IADA) presented the XIV IADA Congress in Warsaw in September 2019. This congress addressed the latest developments in the profession, including conservation decision-making, collection risk management, surveys, sharing positive and negative outcomes of scientific research and conservation projects, art technological studies (artist’s materials and techniques), ethical considerations in conservation as well as hands-on experiences.
