Please join Christina Taylor (HAM), Deborah LaCamera (Studio TKM) and Amanda Hegarty (HL) for a brown bag presentation on the workshop, “[The Construction of Japanese Scrolls](https://www.nedcc.org/preservation-training/scrolls-workshop),” taught by Yoshi Nishio, of Nishio Conservation Studio at NEDCC and co-sponsored by the Foundation for Advancement in Conservation. During this week-long hands-on workshop, participants constructed scrolls using Japanese techniques, tools and materials. Many of these elegant and environmentally sound techniques are very useful components to add to western conservators’ toolkits.

[Sign up](/os_events/nojs/registration/1469978) if you are not on the staff of Harvard Library.

Feel free to bring your lunch.
