The International Association of Book and Paper Conservators (IADA) presented the [XIV IADA Congress](https://www.iada-home.org/en/news/xiv-iada-congress-warsaw-239-279-2019.html) in Warsaw in September 2019. This congress addressed the latest developments in the profession, including conservation decision-making, collection risk management, surveys, sharing positive and negative outcomes of scientific research and conservation projects, art technological studies (artist’s materials and techniques), ethical considerations in conservation as well as hands-on experiences. Attendee Christopher Sokolowski will share key takeaways.
