Preservation Services would like to welcome two new members to our team: Keala Char and Jody Beenk!

Keala Char began in August as our new Preservation Review Librarian in the Collections Care unit. As the Preservation Review Librarian, Keala manages the commercial library binding and preservation review programs and works with our library colleagues across campus.

In March, we welcomed Jody Beenk as our Senior Rare Book Conservator at the Weissman Preservation Center. In this role, Jody will manage our conservation program for rare books in the special collections of Harvard Library, including high-production conservation treatment workflows, preservation advice, consultation, education, and other programmatic activities. ![A woman standing at a bench working with a large brush.](/sites/g/files/omnuum11066/files/styles/hwp_1_1__360x360_scale/public/library-preservation/files/jodykaribari.jpg?itok=3pfYDTWv)

We are thrilled to be working with you both!
